Oh, you bet. Space's totally a commodity, and you can ask any Tokyo-ite that. [ He shakes his head, going ahead of this woman to get the door for her. But in the back... the "kitchen" here is quite large (including a big stone oven in the back they con't replace if they tried) and has a door to the left to go to the basement they dug out and a door to the right to the outside and their passage towards the roof. But there's also a lot of backroom stock in here, which is what they've converted it for ]

Nothing sits unused as some scared thing unless people fight very hard for it. Still, it's hard to think we're crowded in a town this big for a population this small.
