Game 019 [Voice] - There's a Pun in Here...

With so many people suddenly dying, I was wondering: what's it like to die here, where death isn't permanent? If you've died back in your home world, what's the afterlife like where you're from?

And even if you haven't, does death seem less important, does it carry less weight here than it did back home?

Well, what the hell do you expect from a skeleton in a cloak, with a bloody huge, razor sharp scythe? He's...okay, all things considered. Not the best kind of conversationalist there is, not that you can really blame him. Guy's never really taken a day off either, but I figure if he did the world would get messed up fast.

I do not know.

He's there for humans. [And gods, but Oswald's not going to say that.] I don't know about animals or stuff. He's busy enough as it is with just people.

He's there to help people realize they're dead, and he guides them to their afterlife, whatever it may be.

Doesn't happen immediately, but they do. Sooner or later, anyway.

I do not do well in normal society. I could fulfill my medical curiosities on the other mercenaries.

Ja. It is still painful and annoying to be killed where I come from.

I have no idea. *Medic is a liar and was never actually killed here. He wants to see where Joshua's going with this.*

I've known Death for a pretty long time. And when you've been around as long as I have, you pick up stuff some of the more less-known details about the world.

Eh, I met him on the job. It's not exactly easy to avoid him if you can see him and if you lead a more adventurous lifestyle either.

There are surely theories about that, but I'll leave them up to you to uncover.

Souless. Plenty of brain, but they're like rabid animals in regards to feeding.

No one does. [Very stubborn man on this.]

I'm not sure it's a way out at all. Stopping immediate pain doesn't change the cause or the suffering.
