Game 030 [Action] - CATFIGHT

[ If you happen to be looking up within the vicinity of Community Building 5, or on the roof, you might spot a strange creature. It's white with black markings, vaguely fox or cat-like, has strange tattoo markings instead of front legs or its tail, and a second set of wings that are folded on top of a (possibly suspiciously familiar) set of rainbow filial wings. Oh, yes. And it's BIG. About seven feet to the shoulder, to be precise, except you can't really tell that because it's curled up and seems to be dozing.

Joshua is fed up with not being able to sleep.

Poke him?


Alternatively, maybe you noticed the GIANT CATFIGHT that suddenly erupted in the streets below between him and a creature that flickers back and forth between these two forms:

A fight which is not one to be interrupted, but after they go their separate ways after the fight, you're welcome to poke either one of them. Just expect them to be ruffled and mildly unhappy. ]



((tl;dr poke either sleepy Joshua on the roof of C5, ruffled Joshua in the street, or ruffled Hanekoma in the street. All in Noise forms. Don't worry, they won't actually attack you.))

[ He gives a growl. ]

What do you want.

[ Barely even a question. ]

I want you to quit fighting me so we can be done with this. I did only come to talk.

[ He shifts a bit on Joshua, trying to keep him down, but Sanae's not quite so aggressive now. Still sounding less than pleased, but he's past attacking. The growl is mostly gone from his voice. ]

A bit late for that [ And he twists, trying to get out. But it's clear that he's fully pinned, and there's no getting out any time soon. ] isn't it?

[ Sanae holds him down with some difficulty, giving a little annoyed snap of his teeth by Joshua's ear. ]

Didn't think you'd throw us off the roof. Going to stop squirming so I can let you go, now?

[ The sound makes Joshua startle, and his ears give a surprised flick. After a moment he lets himself relax a little, just enough to show Sanae he's not struggling, but still tense enough that he can react to any sudden tricks the other might pull. ]

[ With a little almost-exasperated noise of agreement, the huge red lion lifts itself off Joshua and backs away. Warily, and expecting to be pounced on the whole time, but still he makes an effort and giving Josh some space. ]

[ Rather than pouncing, Joshua quickly backs up, his growl low but loud. He's very on-edge. ]

[ He shifts to Tigris Cantus, less stable when he's agitated. The tiger doesn't do much, though, just hangs in the air and eyes Joshua with its tail lashing. ]

[ That brings a louder growl, and Joshua crouches down, tail also lashing. His pupils have narrowed to slits, and he's ready to pounce at the first sign of an attack. ]

[ Sanae makes a show of looking away and licking at his ruffled fur, as though Joshua's growling can't even be heard. He's tense and ready to teleport if Josh springs at him, but he'll at least try to pretend otherwise. ]

[ This isn't what he wanted to happen today. Joshua took this form so that he could sleep, not fight, and now he's back in as much pain as he was in before.

Not productive.

So he's going to be slowly backing away now. Very slowly. And cautiously. ]

[ Sanae doesn't move from his place in the air. He could back off, drift away with those big tattoo-y wings of his, but staying still and not doing anything unpredictable seems like the less-menacing action here. He's still annoyed, anyway, and aching more than he'd like to admit.

He'll make his way home on foot once Josh is far enough away. ]

[ Joshua backs up a bit further and pauses, before finally turning and bounding a few paces away. That's about all he can manage on his injuries, so he less-than-smoothly transitions into a walk, glancing over his shoulder as he goes.

He doesn't even care that he's heading away from his house. He just wants to find somewhere to go, away from Sanae, where he can tune up and exchange the sharp pains of his injuries for the needling pain of his Angel-Composer hybrid of a form. ]
