Game 042 [Written/Action] - Play Like There's No Tomorrow
[ The following goes up on the journals later on in the morning. ]
A rather large collection of sheet music appeared in the shops some time rather recently. If you were looking for any that you'd hoped would follow you to Luceti, I might have picked it up.
[ Soon after that, the sound of a violin can be heard coming from in front of House 38. If you're quiet, it can even be heard all the way from the town center. What's he playing, you ask? Well, anything.
Maybe your favorite song. Maybe something hauntingly familiar. Maybe a rousing song. Maybe it's even battle music!
Seriously, he'll be playing anything if there's someone with that canon here. Who needs a fourth wall.
Joshua is sitting out in front of House 38 on one of the chairs from inside, sheet music on his lap has he sight reads it. Care to stop by and listen? ]

When she finds the source, she doesn't interrupt. She doesn't want to. Instead, she finds a place to sit on a nearby curb and pulls out her sketchbook, foot tapping as she fishes out a pencil to draw. She might draw Joshua. She might draw people wandering past. But it's familiar. Like drawing Geordie while he busked for passerbys in Newford]
[OOC: hopefully this is okay?]

[ Joshua's concentration comes and goes when he sight-reads, but for now he's caught up in the piece, the unfamiliar notes coming a bit unsteadily but easily nonetheless as he plays on.
He hasn't noticed her yet. ]

Drawing again?
[ And he plays on like the interruption never happened. ]

[she smiles up at him, then] Do you mind? I can stop.

[she gestures with her pencil] It was your hands. And the music. It's good practice.

Besides, it'd get boring trying to draw poses and still-life all the time.
