Yea but that's 'cause those people have bad ideas like stealin' or hurtin' someone!

It's not always so clear-cut. Maybe two people just disagree about something they can't come to a compromise on. Maybe their perspectives are too different.

I know that! But sometimes you can still make friends with someone with a different view than you! And maybe one day you can help them change their views!

Well I understand the want t' be strong. I wanna be as strong as I can be! But y' don't do that by mistreatin' your Pokemon and havin' an attitude.

Who said anything about either of those? There's other things to not be compromised on as well.

Like what? Stealin'? It's not nice to steal either.

Like their beliefs. Their views. The way they see the world. Two people, neither right nor wrong, but looking at things from different perspectives in a way that means they don't see eye-to-eye.

So? Just 'cause people don't see eye-to-eye doesn't mean they can't be friends.

But sometimes they don't see eye-to-eye on things that break up their possible friendship. Maybe one believes that you should always clean up after yourself, and the other believes that you only need to clean up your mess when it gets really bad? Imagine what it would be like trying to stay together!
