With so many people suddenly dying, I was wondering: what's it like to die here, where death isn't permanent? If you've died back in your home world, what's the afterlife like where you're from?

And even if you haven't, does death seem less important, does it carry less weight here than it did back home?

Considering I'm just as likely to die here as I was back in Veldime [really, given the huge amount of freaks that followed Adell home in the past few years] it wouldn't bother me.

You can only bargain so much away before death takes all of you anyway.

Oho, but I'm not the bargaining type at all. I keep what I have.

When I lived in the Netherworld there were demons of all power levels running free, many unchallenged and unopposed. When Adell was off away from dealing with his own pests I certainly wouldn't have been able to stop any of them.

Same thing here, small contained village, dangerous beings of all sorts lurking and running around. Not all that different than home, the likelihood is about the same.

Bargaining? You can pick what to lose?

What I meant was if given the choice I wouldn't give away a damn thing, just how I am.

Obviously that means nothing here and knowing that I'd rather not die.

I didn't always have this extra eye to greet everyone I meet.
