Miniskirts are much more common in Japanese media than in foreign media, so I thought if you weren't Japanese, that might be an explanation.

And the idea that I may be from an entirely different world where miniskirts don't even exist didn't cross your mind first? I mean. Since we are in a place full of people from other worlds, I'd have though that would be the first thing to jump to.

You brought up the miniskirt first and you say you're Japanese. Two damning pieces of evidence, I'd say.

And what if I come from a Japan where miniskirts are ancient history? Fashion doesn't stick around forever, you know!

Then you still brought it up. Besides, it's been part of the public school uniform for a long time where I come from. It's not a question of popularity at this point.
