[ It's windy, and it's cold, but Joshua has an anniversary to celebrate in his own quiet way and he's not going to let the weather stop him. His first stop is to swing by his old room, room 7 at Community Housing 5. It's still empty, but he's not surprised to find that both Hanekoma's graffiti and his own long-disabled traps have disappeared from the walls.

After that, he'll spend some time trying to spray paint one of the not-yet-painted walls of House 38. Of course, given that spray paint doesn't like cold temperatures and really doesn't like wind, that's going to produce a result that's about as neat and tidy as you'd expect. So after a little while wrestling with that, he'll head inside to make himself a cup of nostalgia coffee (not as good as Hanekoma's...) and sit down with his journal to warm up. ]

What was your first experiment here, and what did you think about it? [ He giggles. ] For me, I suppose an amusement park made for a rather gentle introduction. Does anyone else remember the Great Mysterio?

From what I can remember... it kinda reminds me of Luceti. Minus the wings, Malnosso and the barrier. [She smiles a bit] There was this village in the middle of the forest that a lot of people lived at, Sharance I think it was called... it was a very peaceful place. Outside of the village though I remember there being a lot of monsters. There was one boy who had to always drive them away.

Did you like it there?

I did! It was a really nice place and the people were too. But I don't think it's a place I'd want to live in for a long time, as nice as it was. I prefer the city and even here I feel a bit homesick.

How have you been adjusting to life here?

Well, I think! It's been a lot easier to adjust with Beat and everyone else here with me.

You found him, then?

Yep! I did. [And she even found out he was her brother] I was able to find all of my friends here.

That's good, hee hee. Do you live with them?

I do! I should bring you over sometime and introduce you to them. They're all very kind people.

[ Giggle. ] Sounds like a fun time. Maybe sometime later.

It seems like you've had a relatively easy time so far.

I... can't say it's all been easy. I've had my fair share of challenges just like everyone else here. [Like the draft and dealing with Beat and his disappearing hands and finding out she doesn't remember anything about the person closest to her.

But she doesn't want to let it weigh on her so much. Especially since Beat had to be strong for her again] Having my friends here just has really helped.

I'm sure it has. [ He doesn't let the jealousy into his voice. ]

Don't be afraid to rely on your friends if you need to.

Yes, I know.

[It's something she's learned and had to do many times, to just rely on her friends when she needs to the most. It's what she's done with Beat since the moment she met him after all. They've relied on each other for support as partners and siblings, even here.

But even so, she doesn't like the idea of relying on him or even other people too much. She's relied on Beat to hold her up so many times even though he's been the one hurting on the inside more than her. So if she can help it, she doesn't want to burden him anymore than she already has by relying on him so much.

She wants to be strong. Like him]
