Game 006 [Action] - Deserved That One, Really

[ If you happen to be around the outskirts of the forest, specifically along the edge closest to the mountains, you might happen to spot a tree with a glowing trunk. If you inspect further, you'll notice that the glow is in fact not coming from the tree, but a figure sitting at the base of the trunk.

Yes, it's Joshua. He landed in the mountains and managed to make his way to some semblance of shelter, but now that it's getting dark, the power he's been using to keep himself warm on this windy day is now a lot more visible. He's not going back to the village unless absolutely necessary unless his speech returns to normal, and he can easily survive a few more days without food.

If you dare poke him, he won't be happy to see anyone in the least. ]

[ Joshua would not in fact care for any sort of company at the moment, but he's really not in any condition to protest.

His gaze instantly snaps to the newcomer, and his lips tighten into a line. He shoots the most intense glare he can manage, but it's probably hindered by the fact that this body doesn't seem that threatening at first glance. Well, aside from the glowing.

[ Joshua doesn't like being looked at like some sort of animal on display. He glares more and tenses, just a little, but doesn't answer. It's even more frustrating than he thought it would be, not being able to talk to someone who's right in front of him and questioning him. ]

[ Oh, Josh doesn't like that at all. But if there's anything he's familiar with, it's provocation to get a reaction, and he's not going to give one. So his glare of anger softens to a glare of contempt, and he throws Jin a cold shoulder. Off to find another tree. A pity. He'd liked this one. ]

[ That got Joshua to stop. Not out of anger, or anything like that. No, it was irony. That funny little thing that seemed to sometimes show up just when Joshua needed to be reminded of why he'd made the decisions he had in the first place. He turned partially, just enough so that Jin could see the grin on his face as his shoulders shook in silent laughter. ]

[ Too bad, indeed. Joshua manages to calm himself, and tosses a wave over his shoulder. Now he's nowhere near as annoyed about leaving that tree. ]
