[ Joshua has been running a few errands today. Maybe you've seen him traversing the main area of the village. Now he's left the plaza and was about to reach the nothernmost bridge when he suddenly collapses.

He's awake when he hits the ground, and within moments, is doubled over, clutching his stomach. Within a minute, he's audibly suppressing gagging noises.

Good afternoon, Luceti. Josh is getting hit with Shibuya withdrawal. ]

Thank you, Neku. [ He takes it and pockets it, and after a moment, starts walking again, slower than before. ]

[And Neku will walk along side of him then, keeping a little close just in case. Joshua can hang onto him if he needs to, but Neku won't force him to for now.]

[ It doesn't take long before Joshua stops walking again. He's trying to suppress his breathing, but between that and an unusually high amount of sweating considering all they're doing is walking, it's a pretty good indicator that he's not exactly doing well right now. ]

[Yeeeah he's really not looking too great. Neku stops next to him again and gives him a worried look.]

[ He lies. ]

Let's just take a break for a few minutes.

... [ Joshua gives a dramatic sigh and takes a couple steps to move to the side of the road before sitting down. ]

[Fff. Well at least he listened. Neku slowly goes over and sits next to him.]

[ And Josh is just going to be... strangely quiet. Preoccupied with his thoughts. ]

[It makes Neku a little uneasy but he figures he's already done enough damage today, so he stays quiet as well, just mostly staring off into space. He'll occasionally glance over at Joshua though to check on him.]

[ Well if he asked, he'd find out that Josh is actually trying to listen to Shibuya through Neku. Because he is now homesick, thank you very very much Hanekoma, Josh didn't need that. And Neku is one of his best connections back to Shibuya.

Actually no, Josh wouldn't tell Neku that. He wouldn't tell anyone that. But he really didn't need to suddenly be homesick. ]

[If Neku knew that he'd want to try to help Joshua listen to Shibuya through him, if it were possible. 'Cause Neku knows that homesick feeling, of course not like Joshua feels, but. And the one person he's talked to about it doesn't understand. She acts like she's more happy here with her new friends and having her own clothing store.

But yeah, this silence is making Neku fidget a little. He's also unwittingly staring at Joshua now.]

[ Dammit Neku, you don't channel Shibuya well when you're nervous. Joshua turns to him, and after a moment, grins. ]

See something you like? [ Said as he leans a little closer. Yes we are back to flirting Josh would just love to pretend everything is normal right now. ]

[He stiffens, looking at Joshua a little flustered.]

It's alright, Neku. No one else is here to see. [ Leaning so their shoulders touch. ]

I'm trying to see if you're okay or not.

I've told you, I'm fine. [ Hand on his knee, Neku stop being so serious :| ]

[Not making any objections yet, but he is glaring.]

[ Running his fingers gently across Neku's skin, then. ] Who said I was expecting it?

[He shifts a little and tries to grab Joshua's hand.]

This isn't making me think you're fine, either. Aren't you pissed at me?

[ Joshua doesn't move his hand away, and tries instead to squeeze Neku's hand back. ]

Nothing came of it.

[He just makes an aggravated noise.]

Oh, right, because you won't let anything have meaning.

[ There's a pause, and his grip loosens a hair. ]

Meaning and substance are different things.
