[ There’s a few seconds’ pause, then the sound of chuckling. ]

Of course, now that I have it working, I don’t have anything to talk about! What do people usually do with these sorts of things, anyway? Hmm... Dear diary: woke up in a strange world today. It doesn’t seem to be a certain someone’s fault. Would like to get back to my Shibuya soon. Hope I didn’t leave the tub running. [ He giggles at his own joke. ]

Looks like it. No UG here, and I can't seem to find a way to get upstairs. Stuck.

Long story short, we -- along with a buncha other folks, including some of your Players -- got kidnapped. Some shady group called the Malnosso are keeping us here as labrats.

They perform experiments on us. Everything from sicking serial killers on the town to having us switch bodies with our neighbors. The wings are a part of it, I think -- everyone's got a pair.

The locals -- of this world, I mean -- have got 'em, and our kidnappers wanted to make us fit in.

[ He pauses a moment to try and catch a glimpse of Joshua's in the little icon window... and then makes a little choked noise, trying not to laugh his ass off. ]

Well, I guessed that. I don't have wings at all anymore. It would be strange if I finally got them again now.

I haven't figured out what the wings mean, yet. It's gotta be relevant to Soul or personality, though -- Phones has got white ones, too, which isn't too surprising.
