Game 013 [Voice/Action] - "Triumphant" Return

[ The feed cuts in to the sound of coughing, and a very soft ] dammit [ before Joshua speaks into the journal, his voice somewhat hoarse and higher-pitched than usual. ]

Hanekoma, come get me. [ Mostly he just sounds exhausted. ]

[ Josh is sitting against a tree on the edge of the forest, staring at the mountains off in the distance, his journal in his lap. He looks younger... 10, maybe 12 at the oldest. He's covered in burn marks and bruises, and his clothes are completely ruffled and smattered with blood stains, not to mention a bit oversized due to him not being his usual stature. There's blood-stained bandages on his arms, and more hidden beneath his clothes. In other words, he's in bad shape.

Not to mention shivering. It's cold and snowing, and he's not dressed for the weather. ]

Feel like hanging out here today? Not sure how much energy you've got back.

[ Really, he just wants to know if Josh can walk. ]

That depends. Will you be taking a shower?

... I was planning to, but I could skip it.

[ plz to not be perving on him in the shower, Joshua. ]

[ At this point it's more to make him uncomfortable than anything else. Way to scare him off lots of physical contact for a while, Sanae. :| ]

[ MISSION ACCOMPLISHED except oh wait, that was unintentional. But still probably a good thing for Sanae. ]

Nah. I don't think I'm gonna let you scare me outta showering, Josh.

If you insist. Now, you said you'd make me bouillabase?

Comin' right up. And coffee, too, if you want it.

[ Swiping at his hair, buttoning up that shirt the rest of the way, and he'll move for the door. ]

Hmm, sure. Coffee too. [ And Joshua carefully goes to stand. ]

[ Then Sanae will just slip on out of the room. ...and hang back in the hallway for a moment, to see if Josh will be able to manage it. ]

[ And shortly after, Josh appears in the doorway! No mishaps here. ]

Hmm?

[ He shrugs and smiles, and here have a half-truth: ]

Wondered where you were off to.

Oh, don't worry, I'm not going to vanish on you without getting my meal first.

Hope not, or you'll pass out in the snow and we'll hafta do this all over again.

[ Gonna head for the stairs, then. Feel free to tag along. ]

Your lack of faith wounds me, Sanae. [ /tags along ]

And I don't think I'd make it five minutes without hitting you, this time. [ Will just pretend it was extremely satisfying -- which it may have been, for all of two seconds -- as opposed to fairly uncomfortable. ]

Then I'd just have to make those five minutes count.

[ Not particularly what he wanted to hear, thanks. ]
