Oh, is it? [ He leans in closer, close enough to let his breath wash against Sanae's neck. ]

[ Yes, definitely a bad idea. One that Sanae is now regretting. Don't mind him, he'll just tense a bit, suppress a cringe, and move away from Josh on the bed. ]

And if you try pushing it, I'm not stickin' around all night to heal ya.

I thought you wanted to take care of me. [ His hand drifts to Sanae's chest and lightly fists his shirt. ]

[ He does not like the direction this is taking. Here, have a hand cautiously trying to pry your fingers off. ]

Sure. Which means I'm not gonna let you pass out on me tryin' to get in my pants.

[ Joshua's hand shakes but gives little resistance as Hanekoma pulls him off. No matter what appearance he's giving, it's probably quite easy to tell that his physical strength just took a huge hit. ]

[ And that power surge, already dim, fades a little further. ]

Already wasted everything I gave you on switching bodies, and you're not gettin' a reward for it. Gonna lie down and go to sleep or should I knock you out?

Not everything... [ And he does his best to move closer to Sanae, getting more contact, pulling at what power he can reach. ]

[ He makes a low exasperated noise but doesn't fight Josh off, half-sitting up on the bed and radiating faint energy. ] I've only got so much to give. You'd rather be a teenager than heal those cuts?

[ And this is Josh doing his best to crawl into Sanae's lap. ]

You made me an offer I just couldn't refuse.

[ This should not be turning him on he is not interested in guys what the hell Joshua get out of his lap right now. ]

Joshua? Off.

Oh Sanae, you tease... [ Leaning in to place lips on Sanae's neck, but it's energy that he's drawing from the contact more than anything else. ]

I mean it.

[ He makes a little noise, tries to pass it off as aggravation, and tips his head away from Joshua. That shift of power just surges faintly in time to his annoyance, though. ]

[ That surge calls to Joshua, though, who's doing all he can to stave off the light-headedness he can feel trying to drag him into unconsciousness. He presses closer, his grip on Hanekoma's arms slowly, slowly gaining strength. ]

You shouldn't've wasted power on this.

[ Hanekoma stays put, still and tense and thrumming a little more strongly with that energy. He's got plenty more to give, but it's not limitless, and he'd been hopeful that they were making progress. ]

[ He shifts to bury his face in the crook of Sanae's neck, maintaining the contact while he half-murmurs, ] Your fault for teasing me.

Probably.

[ That makes him tense a bit more, and turn his head involuntarily, stubble brushing against Joshua's cheek. ]

Outta my lap and go to sleep, Josh. Do your flirting in the morning. When you're not dying of blood loss.

Mmm, but I have you for now... [ He shifts a bit more of his weight onto Sanae, somewhat for the purpose of pushing him over backwards and down, but not entirely. ]

[ Sanae doesn't seem to realize what Josh is doing, just leans back a bit to take the guy's weight. You are not getting him on his back, Joshua. :| ]

And you'll have me again later. I'm not too great at fending you off, looks like.

[ Trying a little harder, then. ] But it took so long to get you here, why risk wasting my chance?

[ Okay, that 'not getting him on his back' thing? Was a lie. Hanekoma hasn't quite registered what's going on until his shoulders hit the mattress, and then his expression is nothing but deadpan wtf. ]

[ Victory~ Joshua pulls back from Sanae and smirks down at him, shifting to straddle him. The strength has mostly returned to his grip. Almost. ]

[ The thrum in the air picks up sharply, and there's a spike of power as his emotions flare. He plants his hands on the bed and does his best to sit up. ]

I said no, Joshua.

[ Okay, that wasn't any form of energy he could use, and he jolts sharply for an instant before regaining his composure. He doesn't actually have enough force to keep Sanae pinned. ]

You said "best night of your life".

[ Sanae only sits up halfway, frowning at the teenager straddling his lap. ]

I said "could," didn't I? Not "would." Not "will."
