[ He makes a soft noise and leans into Sanae. ] This will be hard.

What'll be hard, J? Seems like everything is, right now. [ This is not anything remotely like snuggling, it is much closer to manly half-hugging. Obviously. ]

Hee hee. Everything. [ But there's no laugh behind the words, just a bit of a grab at the power he's being offered. ]

[ That gets a bit of a snort, and he just shifts a little against Josh. This is oddly comfortable. ] Alright, not everything.

[ ~~It's even more comfortable when he's a teen~~~ ] Beating them.

[ ~~But then everything will be hard and Hanekoma'll be very very lineface about it.~~ ] Yeah. At least we've got resources to work with. And allies, even if most of 'em aren't playing on quite on the same level.

Oh, Sanae, heal my wounds... [ He giggles, taking what Sanae's giving, snuggling a little closer. ]

It'd be much more helpful if more of them were useful.

Guess so. I still say they all bring something to the table.

[ He gives a one-sided shrug with his free arm, and that hand slips from Joshua's shoulder to brush hair from the guy's face. This grin implies he's only doing it jokingly, but Hanekoma's eyes are a bit more fond than he's willing to admit. ]

Not every day you get stuck as a kid, J. I should probably be takin' advantage of this somehow.

[ Oh, Joshua's eyes flash with something, as he looks to Hanekoma with a grin that isn't all innocence. ] Advantage, how?

Oh, y'know. Collecting blackmail. Teasing.

[ Not that sort of advantage, Josh, so stop looking at him like that. :| Speaking of teasing, those fingers are going to drop from Josh's hair and run down his neck. He doesn't even care that this will come back to haunt him later. ]

[ Except he won't, no matter how much Josh changes his age or his body. But this mocking opportunity must be seized. ]

[ Josh is going to give a last pull of power before leaning up against Sanae, his skin glowing, a hum resonating in the air. ]

Oh, is it? [ He leans in closer, close enough to let his breath wash against Sanae's neck. ]

[ Yes, definitely a bad idea. One that Sanae is now regretting. Don't mind him, he'll just tense a bit, suppress a cringe, and move away from Josh on the bed. ]

And if you try pushing it, I'm not stickin' around all night to heal ya.

I thought you wanted to take care of me. [ His hand drifts to Sanae's chest and lightly fists his shirt. ]

[ He does not like the direction this is taking. Here, have a hand cautiously trying to pry your fingers off. ]

Sure. Which means I'm not gonna let you pass out on me tryin' to get in my pants.

[ Joshua's hand shakes but gives little resistance as Hanekoma pulls him off. No matter what appearance he's giving, it's probably quite easy to tell that his physical strength just took a huge hit. ]

[ And that power surge, already dim, fades a little further. ]

Already wasted everything I gave you on switching bodies, and you're not gettin' a reward for it. Gonna lie down and go to sleep or should I knock you out?

Not everything... [ And he does his best to move closer to Sanae, getting more contact, pulling at what power he can reach. ]

[ He makes a low exasperated noise but doesn't fight Josh off, half-sitting up on the bed and radiating faint energy. ] I've only got so much to give. You'd rather be a teenager than heal those cuts?

[ And this is Josh doing his best to crawl into Sanae's lap. ]
