[ Definitely sounding tired now. He leans against the doorway, and rubs blood from his chin with an arm. He doesn't feel like arguing this, not after carrying Josh all the way home and pouring his power into the guy. Not with Josh lying in the other room, bleeding. ]

Not on his deathbed or anything, I fixed him up the best I could. Look, if you just wanna make sure he's alright...

[ Hey, he's mostly not bleeding anymore, to Sanae's credit. He's also more than half asleep. ]

[He hesitates for a few seconds, knowing he's probably being a pest right now and Mr. H doesn't look like he's in the mood. Still, Neku wants to see if Joshua is okay, and it'll bother him until he gets to see him. Neku takes a step forward, not backing down as he looks up at Mr. H.]

Please.

[ He gives a sigh, and a little resigned smile -- well, the guy is sure determined to make sure his friend is alright, that oughtta be admirable. He'll apologize to Josh later.

Mr. H opens the door further and gestures for Neku to come inside. ]

With any luck, he's asleep already, so keep it down on your way up.

[ Well, less asleep, more like dozing really. ]

[He nods again and steps inside, pausing so Mr. H can lead the way.]

[ And lead the way he does! Shuts the door behind them, leads Neku on up the stairs, and slips into the bedroom as quietly as he can. Aw look, there's a sleepy little!Josh in his bed. Drowning in a too-big shirt. And more than a bit covered in blood. ]

[ Don't forget the too-big boxers, too. Also mostly asleep. ]

[Josh is... tiny. Huh. Neku's brow furrows in confusion as he glances back at Mr. H in question. Slowly, and quietly, approaches closer to the bed. Well, at least he's in one piece...]

[ Hanekoma gives an apologetic I'll-explain-it-later sort of smile, but Neku why are you going closer to the bed that might be a bad idea. ]

[ zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... ]

[Knows not to disturb him, so Neku stops about a foot away from the bed, just watching Joshua for a few moments before looking down at the floor. Don't worry, he'll leave in a few minutes, he just needed to be here for some reason. Joshua may be a jerk and stuff, but Neku still considers him a friend and oddly cares about him. And to see him like this is really worrying.]

[ Mr. H just watches the two of them for a minute, and then he steps carefully over to Neku and puts a hand on the guy's shoulder. Leaning in to whisper, here: ]

He heals fast. Should be fine in a few days. Don't sweat it.

[ Joshua will just take the opportunity to shift in his sleep and mumble something about kissing and Sanae and touching. ]

[He'll take your word on it, Mr. H. Glances back over at Joshua before giving another nod.]

...all right.

[ Okay, now Hanekoma's starting to doubt that Josh is really asleep. ...that, or the guy actually dreams about the kissing and touching and yeah he'll stop that train of thought right there. ]

Hey. I'll take good care a' him. You can come check up on the guy any time, alright?

[ Well, maybe he does, Sanae, you never know. However, his wonderful nap is disturbed by him suddenly tensing, shooting wide awake in an instant. ]

Stop-!

[Was just about to leave, too, but his attention is quickly drawn back to Joshua. He's almost tempted to step closer but he stops himself.]

...

[ And Hanekoma tenses, stepping back a pace and tugging on Neku's shoulder as he does. Better to give Joshua his space, really, and this voice is hasty but soft: ]

It's alright, Josh. Just us.

[ After a moment he seems to come to his senses. ]

I said you didn't have to come.

[Just staying right there where Mr. H pulled him back to.]

And I said I know. I still wanted to.

Sorry, Josh. Tried to send him away, but the guy was worried.

[ Yeah he'll just hang back here with Neku, only faintly apologetic. ]

I didn't want you to see this.

[Stops. Not really sure what to say now.]

[ And Sanae slips further towards apologetic, silent. ]
